I Heart Local Music

Game On

Posted Tuesday, August 5, 2008

We headed out to the Replay last night for some amazing music.

Basically this guy plays music through his Game Boy. Or Game Boys, rather. Imagine being an artist, where people show up to watch you play your video games. Rad! Except, instead of video games, it's the best 8-bit music you could ask for.

Seriously, check out his myspace. You'll be sorry you missed the show.

So here's some highlights instead.

He hails from Western Illinois, and was gracious enough to give an interview. I get the feeling he's a former raver, since he throws out glow sticks and hard candy during the show. To all whopping 8 of us. It was rad.

I heart former ravers!
