Total Non-Stop Action
Posted Tuesday, April 8, 2008
If you're a regular reader of my blogs, you should know that I am an avid fan of professional wrestling. I sit through everyone giving me a hard time about it, and what do I do? I do nothing. I love what it is, what it was and what it will become. If you were to ask me out of the two main promotions which one I follow religously, then the answer would have to be Total Non-Stop Action or TNA.
This love of TNA has taken on a whole new light when I recently "took over" the Washburn chapter of the TNA U program which is around certain college campus locations around the country. TNA U gives you the oppritunity to get a taste of the sports entertainment industry by promoting the product in a creative way. I've tried to do that with YouTube videos, newspaper ads and television spots. But what do we promote? The answer is easy.
We are currently promoting TNA Lockdown, the most dangerous pay-per-view in TNA history. Every single match is held inside the Six-Sides-of-Steel cage. Currently we will see the Queen of the Cage match, the Lethal Lockdown match pitting Team Cage against Team Tomko, the X-Scape match pitting six X-Division superstars against one another for the TNA X Division Championship, former tag team partners collide as B.G. James takes on Kip James in what is sure to be a very violent match. Finally we will see Kurt Angle defend the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Samoa Joe. Samoa Joe has said that if he doesn't win, he will leave professional wrestling forever! Whoever wins this match doesn't get to rest because at TNA Sacrifice, former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Scott Steiner will be getting his shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
So do you want to help promote TNA Wrestling? All you need to do is leave your comment below and you will be contacted! In the meantime, watch TNA Lockdown live on PPV April 13th! And don't forget to watch TNA iMPACT! every Thursday at 8 central on SpikeTV.
