TNA: U

Posted Friday, February 22, 2008

Professional wrestling has been around for quite a long time. It's know the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. Fans of all ages watch it every week on television and pay their hard earned cash to file into the arenas around the world and watch the spectacle live.

Regular readers of this blog know it's no secret that I love this sport. I've given lots of time in an attempt to learn how to wrestle for local promotions and I've spent lots of money on something that I enjoy. But part of me wants more, part of me wants to be a part of the industry that I can't get enough of. And one day, I was given that chance and you can have it to.

Total NonStop Action wrestling (TNA) is giving college students the chance to help promote the company and gain valuble experience in the sports entertainment industry. The TNA University, or TNA: U for short, is a program in which colleges form chapters of dedicated fans to spread the word of TNA. The only limit is your creativity, how far will you go for TNA? YouTube updates, commercials and newspaper articles are just a few examples of what can be done. More information can be found at the TNA: U website
