When the 2007 film Transformers was released, movie goers were treated to an extremely cryptic trailer (preview for the non-nerd) about something attacking New York City the night of a going away party. Was it terrorists? Was it my outburst of not having new television programming? Or was is a monster? Nobody really knew, up until the release date of 1-18-08 for Clovefield. Now, you may be saying to yourselves that I'm a little late in seeing this film, and you'd be right...leave me alone, I was busy.
While I don't want to give too much away, simply because it is a very good movie, and the more people that go to see it, the better the chance of a sequel. Oh, and before I divulge any information that by this point can be found almost anywhere else if you look for it, my tease was a lie. I'm NOT going to spoil what the Clovefield monster looks like...why? There are simply two reasons for this: 1. JAWS was a better movie when you didn't really see the shark. 2. I CAN'T FIND AN ACCURATE PICTURE ANYWHERE!!!!!!!
As far as giving away info, I just did...it's a monster...in New York...breaking stuff. Go see it to get the rest!
