First of all I want to start by saying good bye to Eko. I enjoyed his character, and at the end of the episode I realized he came to peace with himself and his past. Once I realized that he got grabbed by the smoke monster. I find it interesting that the 3 three people they have killed off were Tailies. I have to say though; I was impressed most with his death over any others. It wasn't a shocking or jarring death, it was a little drawn out like Boothe's. But man what a way to go, getting knocked around by the smoke monster. They did give us some answers on why Eko went to London, and why he was building a church. I'm a bit surprised there wasn't more of his back-story to tell. We got a few answers about the smoke monster too; we now know what it looks like, and how it kills people. We also know it looks different to different people when they look into it. Locke said bright light, and beautiful, but all Eko said was he didn't see that. And Eko's last words, "You're next". Does that mean the smoke monster is going to get all the survivors, just our little hatch party, or just Locke? It wouldn't surprise me if it went after Locke.

The old John Locke is officially back! Hearing him say "Don't mistake coincidence for fate” was great. Where is that hatch? It looked quite a bit like the Swan did. What other hatches would they have gotten to look at if Eko didn't get attacked? Who was the man with the eye patch? Is he a Dharma person, or someone else? I thought I saw a Dharma logo on his shirt. I can't wait to find out more about that.

This episode was just action packed. I liked the stuff that happened with Jack. There was I'd have to say the quickest answer to a question in Lost history. We now know that the tumor is in fact Ben's. Ben also revealed the Other plan for Jack, and I am guessing it's the same thing with Kate and Sawyer, we just don't know what they need them to do yet. I don't know if I should believe Juliet or Ben. I'm leaning more towards Juliet. Ben has always lied, and deceived, but so far Juliet hasn't yet. So it wouldn't surprise me if some of the Others do want a change in leadership. This would be the perfect opportunity to do it too.
Well next week is the "fall season finale" and I can't wait. They are pegging it as the best episode of the season, so we'll see. I'll blog on Jericho soon,
Namaste
