Television is the new movies

Supernatural 2.03 Bloodlust

Posted Thursday, October 12, 2006

I thought the episode was pretty good. The Impala is back! I thought it would take more than one episode to repair it, but I guess dean really booked on fixing it. It looks like Ellen at the bar is going to be a home base/information center for the boys now. It's too bad Gordon turned out to be a one track minded kind of person. It would have been neat to see him come back to help the boys hunt something. Kind of an extra partner. It was cool to see Amber Benson again. It's always nice to see someone from Buffy or Angel gracing the small screen again. She looked quite different with the black hair. I think she lost some weight too. They have finally started to enter the "grey area" that comes with supernatural shows. Just because something is supernatural doesn't make it evil. I like when they do that on these types of shows. It reflects real life, not everything is black and white, it's all shades of grey. Let’s hope they keep that idea throughout the rest of the season, if they do it will make much more interesting television.

I didn't get enough e-mails to do a readers thoughts and theories this week, but if more people e-mail me I will try to post them next week. You can e-mail me by clicking here.

Everyone enjoy your weekend, I will see you back here next week for some more great television. Until then,

Namaste
