Lost 3.04 Every Man For Himself

Another tantalizing episode of Lost. Those Others are sneaky. Picket's anger might be their downfall though. Sawyer could use that against them. But then again where would they go? As we saw in this episode they are on a separate island. That I did not expect. Makes sense why they need a sub, and why the Hydra station is not on the blast door map. Obviously though their "real" homes are on the main island. I find that interesting. I wonder what else is on the island that the Hydra is on. More Dharma stations? Also it seems that the Others are having trouble communicating with the outside world now. As we heard Tom say, that since the sky when purple their communications is down. I thought it was interesting that Jack just went to help Colleen without a struggle. I guess he figured if he could save a life, even if it was an Other it would be worth it. The person I think has the tumor is Ben (Henry, it's still weird calling him Ben). That's what Jack has to do for them, save Ben's life and then they will let him go home. And Jack being the way he is, I'm sure he'll save Ben's life. Which I won't mind, I like the Ben character (in the way you like Darth Vader or any "bad guy")

If Desmond can in fact see the future, I think he built his contraption to see if he can change what he sees. Or would fixing Claire's roof be changing the future, and building the lightning rod what he saw that he would do? By introducing a form of time travel (which is what being a psychic is, a non physical form of time travel) they are opening a whole big can of worms.

Big surprise, Sawyer was in prison. (that was sarcasm by the way; it's hard to portray sarcasm through the internet) I did like how he was able to get out. It was clever of them to have him con his way out of prison. I guess Sawyer isn't as slippery as we thought either. I think he actually did get attached to Cassidy. I don't think having a daughter will change him at all. I was a bit surprised he didn't take the commission himself. I never saw Sawyer as being one to be a father, and I know, technically he wasn't, but even having a child out in the world that is his. I just never pictured it.
Once I get home and watch Jericho I will post on it. Until then,
Namaste
