Jericho 1.19 Casus Belli

Posted Wednesday, April 18, 2007

This was a rather entertaining episode, while not a lot happened, what did spoke in volumes. The fact that New Bern has mortars that they are making and the map of Jericho "divvied" up does not bode well. The big question is what is going to happen? With Jake behind bars what's Hawkins’s next move going to be? He might not be able to leave because Jake might have the car keys on him. But will Hawkins stay and get Jake and Eric out of prison? Will they try and stop them from making more and destroy what they already made? Or will they run back to town and warn everyone? It looks like there might be a war on their hands. Is Heather really dead? Why would they kill her and just throw Eric in jail?

In minor plotlines, Johnston and Mary bond much to Gail's dislike. Skylar tries to take a bunch of salt, that is apparently hers, but Gray doesn't let her. Then Russell from New Bern stops by and makes her and offer and she takes it. Russell stops by Gray's office to make him the same offer, even though with or without his permission it will be going on anyways. And Gray's to stupid to realize that Russell is trying to save Jericho. It was great to see Stanley again, and have him back at home. The scenes between him and Mimi were cute and the scenes between him and Sean were pretty funny and entertaining. I hope we find out some answers to the questions above soon, and I have a feeling we will since there are only 3 new episodes left this season. Everyone cross your fingers that it gets picked up for a 2nd season.
