Supernatural 2.14 Born Under A Bad Sign

I think this episode was much better than last week's episode. What happened was Sam got possessed by the same demon who possessed Meg. Apparently the demon clawed its way out of hell to seek out vengence on Dean for banishing it. It was odd to see Sam be a bad ass instead of a whiney bitch. Sam is fun when he's being an asshole. There was continuity galor with some added surprises. Once I saw that Sam was possesed I was a little worried that it was going to be: "Lets trap him in the circle thingy! Then exorcise him!" The lock thingy was a nice addition and made things a little less predictable. Of course Sam gets free of the demon, but only after Bobby burns the lock with a hot poker. It was nice to see Bobby and Jo again. I think it would be a nice addition to have Jo more often than she is. As for the demon, it wasn't the yellow eyed demon, but one of his "children" which added quite a bit of mythology. I believe that the demons tell the truth because most of the time the truth is worse than lies. So when Evil Sam told Jo about what really happened to her dad, I think he was telling the truth. So the fact that John put him out of his misery might make things a little tenser between the wonder twins and Jo. Also we learned that a demon can escape from hell, and when he was there John was too. Evidentially he didn't sacrifice himself like the thought he did. Over all a decent episode. Until next week for all new episodes of Heroes, Veronica Mars, Lost, and Supernatural,
Namaste
