A woman who helped a convicted murderer escape from a Kansas prison is now headed to prison herself.
Toby Young said she drove convicted killer John Maynard out of prison and for that crime will spend 21-months behind bars.
The 28-year-old former prison volunteer pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting aggravated escape and introducing contraband into Lansing Correctional Facility last month.
She also agreed to pay about $7,500 in restitution to the Department of Corrections for overtime and travel expenses.
Young received credit for time she's already served, which means she could be released within a year.
