The race for a seat in Congress is neck-and-neck, according to new internal poll results released by one candidate.
Tuesday, Democratic candidate Nancy Boyda announced her Republican opponent Jim Ryun is slightly ahead of her with 43 percent to Ryun and 40 percent to Boyda. The other 17 percent were undecided.
"The results show that the race is still in a dead heat," says Boyda, Democratic candidate for the Second District Congressional seat.
Boyda says her television campaign will kickoff Wednesday.
Vice-President Dick Cheney will be in town Thursday to host a campaign fundraiser for Ryun.
