The Night of Wine and Roses is an event to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
It will include live and silent auctions, a five-course gourmet meal with appropriate wines served with each course, and music provided by Lee Barnett and Easy Pieces for your listening and dancing pleasure.
It is a fun event to raise money for a good cause.
This year, the dinner is completely underwritten by Stormont-Vail. As a result, all of the cost of each ticket sold ($85/ticket) will benefit the American Cancer Society.
The Night of Wine and Roses will take place Friday, January 18 at the Capitol Plaza Hotel Sunflower Ballroom.
For more information, log onto www.cancer.org or call 1-800-ACS-2345.
Last year's event raised more than $50,000, and this year's goal is $65,000.
The Night of Wine and Roses is a formal event, and participants can expect lovely decorations of lights and roses.
There will be wine-tasting stations set up throughout the ballroom so participants may sample various vintages and socialize before dinner.
