"Who's Numero Uno?" to benefit Topeka Youth Project

Now that Christmas is over and everyone has had the chance to unwrap their gifts, many received a very popular game called "Guitar Hero".

Now there is a good chance for people to test their skills as "Guitar Hero"es for a good cause.

Lexi Lemons with the Topeka Youth Project explained the Project's upcoming event, "Who's Numero Uno?"

The event will involve participation in "Guitar Hero 3", the card game Uno and checkers in a series of tournament on December 30.

The Topeka Youth Project, Game World and CD TradePost are combining to sponsor the event, which will raise funds for the Topeka Youth Project.

Recently, the Topeka Youth Project adopted a nursing home, visiting the residents and giving small gifts to the residents.

Lemons said she anticipated a good response for "Who's Numero Uno?", and that it would be an amazing time.

The event is on December 30 at The Break Room and Field of Greens, 909 S. Kansas Ave.

Registration will be at 7:00 p.m., with games starting at 7:30.

The registration fee is $10 per player for two tournaments, and is open to 14-19 year-olds.
