The "Hap" Dumont NBC World Series continued play Sunday, with the Topeka Mud Hens facing Old School Baseball in the 18-year-old division.
In the second inning, tied at 2, Tyler Bean of the Mud Hens crushed one over the center field wall; a three-run blast that put the Mud Hens up 5-2. The Hens would go on for the 9 -2 victory over Old School Baseball.
Out of six Topeka teams in two age divisions, the Mud Hens are the only squad to finish pool play undefeated.
The NBC World Series moves to double-elimination bracket play beginning Monday morning.
