Most college students use their summer vacations to have fun or get a part time job, but two teens decided that they would try would take a 2,800-mile journey across the U.S. for a good cause.
19-year-old Ashley Casale and 18-year-old Michael Israel decided to walk across the U.S. to promote peace.
They started their walk in San Francisco on May 21 lugging 40-pound backpacks.
Now half way done, they took a breather in Des Moines, Iowa on Sunday.
