Topeka Nearly 500 people pulled on their boots and headed out to Old Prairie Town for the second annual National Day of the American Cowboy.
Old west lovers had the chance to rope a hay bale cow, work on their trigger finger, and even hit the general store. The event gave people the chance to see what living in an old west town was really like; right down to the one room school houses.
The event helps raise money for the Old Prairie Town Ward Meade Historical Site.
