Police wait for autopsy in Kelsey Smith murder case

Overland Park, Kan. Police believe18-year-old Kelsey Smith was likely strangled shortly after she was kidnapped. Kelsey was abducted last Saturday night at a Target store in Overland Park; video surveillance shows her car being driven back up onto the Target lot two hours later. Police believe she was killed sometime in between an autopsy will determine a precise time.
Smith's body was found Wednesday in Missouri. Police have charged 26-year-old Edwin Hall of Olathe with her murder.
As authorities continue to investigate Smith's death, they are looking to see if it is connected to another missing teen in Missouri.
Volunteers are going door to door with missing posters and flyers for 17-year-old Kara Kopetsky. She disappeared May 4 in Belton Missouri, ten miles southeast of Overland Park. She was last seen at Belton High School, just blocks from her home.
