People across country "Stamp Out Hunger"
10:15 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2007
Letters and bills weren't the only thing the post office workers were picking up Sunday.
People were asked to leave non-perishable foods out near their mail boxes so carriers could pick it up when they dropped off mail. It's all part of the 15th-annual national Stamp out Hunger food drive. During the past 15 years, national mail carriers have joined forces with the Campbell soup company to bring in more than 765 millions pounds of food.
