Harley-Davidson brings Disabled American Veterans mobile office to Topeka

Topeka Harley-Davidson made a $1-million pledge to the Disabled American Veterans to allow the foundation to send out mobile service offices, and one of those offices made a stop in Topeka Saturday.
Officials with the DAV set up camp at the Topeka Harley-Davidson to give veterans a chance to stop in and talk about everything from old war stories to their eligibility for compensation for their services.
"Most of it deals with what am I entitled to. A lot of people don't realize their entitled to health care. A lot don't realize they may be entitled to compensation so we're here to give them the answers they need,” says DAV Supervisor Gary Prescott.
The DAV's mobile office stop in Topeka is part of the 2007 Harley Heroes Tour.
