'Weed and Seed' replaces crime with barbeque

Topeka — Good food, good friends, and good times were the idea of Sunday afternoon's BBQ in the Park at Chesney Park.

Neighbors gathered to enjoy some food, a little impromptu dancing, and music. It was partially funded through the Weed and Seed program, designed to bring communities together in an effort to clean up and stomp out crime.
