49 Storm Team Forecast: Here come the changes
11:32 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2007
We should briefly touch 70 degrees before temperatures take a nosedive later today. A cold front will slide through, bringing a slight chance for rain showers tonight and light snow showers Wednesday.
The high on Wednesday should be reached at midnight with temperatures in the upper 30s.
A 33-degree change in the temperature is expected over the next 24 hours. The first snow of the season could come Wednesday. Keep an eye on radar and the skies over Northeast Kansas on our weather page.
The chance for snow showers increases on Wednesday, though accumulations are looking less likely.
Most of the moisture exits Wednesday evening, though a few lingering snow showers are possible Thanksgiving morning.
Cold weather sticks around through the weekend with highs only in the 30s and 40s.
Another system rolls in late in the weekend. Right now, we'll keep the forecast dry.
