49 Storm Team Forecast: Breezes, temperatures increase today
10:32 a.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2007
Enjoy the nice warm-up on the way this afternoon as a southerly breeze kicks highs into the middle 50s.
A weak storm system rolls through tonight bringing a few more clouds. Otherwise, it will be dry until we hit the end of the work week.
A much stronger system pushes in as the chance for precipitation increases Friday night.
You'll only need a jacket today. The temperatures will reach the mid-50s. Temps should reach freezing again by Wednesday morning. Precipitation in the forecast for the weekend. Keep an eye on Doppler Radar on 49abcnews.com/weather.
Right now, the 49 Storm Team is thinking it will start as freezing rain. That could mix with an occasional snowflake overnight Friday through Saturday afternoon.
By Saturday night and Sunday, a little warmer weather builds in, turning the freezing rain into plain rain.
