Sebelius calls VP speculation "out of body experience"
Obama makes his VP choice, but isn't saying who

Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius says being mentioned as a potential running mate to Barack Obama is something of "an out-of-body experience."
49 News Photojournalist Bill Edwards caught up with her at Seaman High School, 4850 NW Rochester Road, today where she was helping students kick off a national contest to design fuel-efficient aircraft.
She says the contest is a chance for students to focus on science, math and engineering, but would not say if she has been contacted by the Barack Obama campaign as a possible running mate.
Sebelius left Topeka shortly after her school visit. She is now in Des Moines stumping for Obama, who told USA Today that he has decided on a running mate, but won't disclose the name. He said only that he went with someone who is independent and would challenge him in the White House.
She spoke with women activists about pay equity and Obama's economic plans. It was the first of her four events planned through the day in the Des Moines area.
The Kansas governor told activists that she thought supporters of Hillary Rodham Clinton would eventually back Obama.
Asked by reporters about the chance of joining the ticket, Sebelius referred them to the Obama campaign.
Sebelius will speak at the Democratic National Convention, that begins Monday in Denver.
