Some area students are gearing up for a contest to design fuel-efficient aircraft.
Today, Governor Kathleen Sebelius helped the students at Seaman High School kick off the state's participation in the national contest.
She says the contest is a chance for students to focus on science, math and engineering.
But talk about the vice presidency stole the show today.
Sebelius brushed past reporters without answering questions today and only had one thing to say.
"So, do you know more than you knew yesterday," the Governor was asked.
"I know I'm off to Iowa," she replied.
Sebelius is now in Des Moines, Iowa.
That's where she is campaigning for Barack Obama.
She spoke with women activists about pay equity and Obama's economic plans.
She said supporters of Hillary Clinton would eventually back Obama.
