KU football looks to get '08 off to a good start

KU is playing for the first time since that Orange Bowl Championship.
Saturday the 'Hawks open things up at home against Florida International.
The two teams went at it in week four last year, and the Jayhawks took down FIU 55-3.
Despite that decisive win a year ago, KU expects a much better golden panther team this time around.
"You have to take into consideration that we've watched last year's tape, but their offense has changed but we know the background of the new coordinator but they're going to spread the field," Head Coach Mark Mangino said.
"It's always hard preparing for your first opponent of the year because there is no tape on them from this year. They could be a whole different ball club. They could be running a whole different defense; we would never know," Jr. Running Back Jake Sharp said.
The Panthers and the Jayhawks kickoff Saturday at 6 p.m. from Memorial Stadium.
