Pow Wow is a big success

Different tribes came together this weekend for the annual Pow Wow, an inter-tribal celebration.
Tents full of artwork and Native American crafts were set up to celebrate culture and to teach others.
Many dancers were in full dress.
Participants say its all coming together for one purpose, the community.
"It's an honor to come out and celebrate and dance for our elders, that can't dance anymore, people that remember, and the way we were taught," said Ira Toshavik a dancer at Pow Wow.
The Pow Wow is held every Labor Day weekend at Lake Shawnee.
