Chapman Tony Freize knew just about everyone out buying fireworks at his tent today.
People in and around Chapman have bought their Fourth of July goodies from Freize for 35 years. But they didn't know if he'd be open this year.
"You're a good loyal customer I see you every year. But you had a lot of damage didn't you though?" he asked one customer.

Chapman Tornado Damage
The night of Wednesday, June 11, was a destructive and deadly one for the small Dickenson County town of Chapman. Have a look at the damage in these photos sent in to 49 News.
Last month's tornado devastated 60 percent of the town of Chapman. So many residents figured this Fourth of July would be a bit toned down. However, the city decided residents needed a break and allowed the sale of fireworks.
"It's really important that life goes on," Freize said.
"I'm extremely excited. It means getting back to into that usual thing. The tornado hit, but we're still bonding and we're still together," said Hannah Miller.
Miller also celebrates her birthday on the Fourth. For her, it's tradition to not only stock up with Frieze, but to catch up. He's her school superintendent.
"I get to see all of the kids and community members that come here, and I can give them an update of what's happening in our schools, reassure them that our schools are going to be here in Chapman," he said.
They can count on it, like they count on him for their Fourth of July fun.
The only stipulation for fireworks in Chapman: You can't shoot off fireworks anywhere near the tornado damage.
A four-block radius is full of debris, and the city didn't want it to catch on fire.
