That's wasn't only music cooking up in Topeka today.
Tonight, the Marshall's Civic Band played a free concert at the Gage Park Amphitheatre.
Its part of the Summer Concert Series sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Commission.
Blue Tango, Valdres March and the Entry March from Swan Lake Overture were all sections the band played for the crowd.
Marshall's Civic band has been entertaining the Capital City for over 100 years.
