Critic: Ain't no crime to own "The Bank Job"

"The Bank Job" was released on DVD today, to the delight of Film Critic Keith Van Sickle and to the surprise of many who might be asking "when did that movie come out."
"It kinda fell under the radar screen," Van Sickle said.
Despite bringing in only moderate profits, our film critic -- who is a regular weekly guest on Good Morning Kansas -- said the movie "is one of the more entertaining, fun times you are going to have watching a movie this year," he said.
It's a throwback to the old bank heist movies, he said, without the technical mumbo jumbo.
Jason Statham stars in this crime thriller. He plays an ex-criminal trying to raise a family who is persuaded to participate in a sure thing.
"Well, once they do the bank job, they realize that they actually come across in these deposit boxes millions of dollars worth of jewels and gems and rubies and everything," he said.
They also discover information that implicates mob figures and high-ranking British officials for different crimes.
"It's very intriguing, very fast-paced, good action film," he said.
He said the extras, including a couple featurettes, were interesting. The DVD also features deleted scenes.
He recommends this movie for purchase.
