Shoppers sad store is going

Markets that have been part of the Topeka landscape for decades are closing.
There are only three shopping days left for patrons of Falley's Market. One Topeka neighborhood says it's going to be missed.
A steady stream of customers head in and out of Falley's on southeast 6th Street, stocking up on items priced to sell at 20 to 30 percent off. Despite those savings, regulars are bracing for when the store closes.
Jamie Sova says, "Well now that gas prices are up, it's going to be hard to go to different sides of town to go shopping."
Jamie Sova lives in the nearby neighborhood and says she'll have to drive across town after Falley's closes on Saturday, and she's not alone.
"I'm sad that the store's closing. It's the only store we have on the east side of town. Dillons is way over to 29th Street," Sova said.
Others say Falley's offers items they can't find anywhere else.
Jace Jacobs says, "They got like different types of peppers. Cactus leaves, don't sell them anywhere else in town that I know of. Two days huh? I didn't know they were closing that quickly."
Not only is it quick for the shoppers, it's hard for employees, too.
Vince Henderson says, "I have a sister that works here. She works in produce. She's worked for 15 years. She don't know what to do. They aren't going to give her a job no where else."
