Time is of the essence when you realize your financial information has been lost or stolen. But by using a particular identity theft tool, that manic process can be calm.
Most important is to watch your financial statements.
Make a list of all your financial accounts that can be fraudulently used by someone else.
Take time to write down the name of the financial institution, account type, account number and toll-free phone number in case of lost or stolen information.
You can get started by printing out this financial track sheet, filling it out and putting it in a safe place where you’ll remember it, in case of an emergency.
