Blood will spill, but only on the big screen, at Topeka's upcoming horror movie festival.
The Slash and Bash Horror Film Festival will deliver gore and a few film stars to Topekans.
Charles Cyphers and Nancy Loomis, of "Halloween;" Eillen Dietz of the "Exorcist;" and Kyra Schon from "Night of the Living Dead" will be the honored guests at the festival, which is scheduled from Sept. 25 to 27 at the Topeka Holidome, 605 Fairlawn Road.
Guests can watch films from the past and present. Plus, independent horror films will also be shown. There will also be a midnight movie along with vendors, food specials and more.
Saturday only there will be an all-day kids room, with scary movies suitable for the little ones.
Three-day passes are $25, or spend $10 per day. Kids under 10 are free.
