Nothing is better when Rossville and Silver Lake meet up on the Gridiron. The teams meet twice last year and the Eagles took both meetings from the Dawgs. In the end tonight, Silver Lake wins 47-0.
Seaman hosted Manhattan, and Manhattan won 28-7.
At Hummer Sports Park, Topeka High faced Hayden, and the Cats clawed away with this one, 32-13.
With apologies to Don Mclean, the marching band did "not" refuse to yield after half-time at Shawnee Heights, as they hosted Washburn Rural. It took overtime to finish this one, but Shawnee Heights would take this one in a barn burner, 28-21.
Royal Valley hosted Jeffereson West, and Jeff West took it in a heart-stopper, 33.28.
Marysville traveled to Wamego, and the Ville would roll away with this game, 49-19.
Coming back to the Capital City, Highland Park hosted the Chargers of Topeka West, and the Chargers blanked the Scots, 18-0.
It was homecoming for the Kaws as Perry-Lecompton hosted the Tonganoxie Chieftains, and the Kaws fly away with this one, 56-7.
