Beau Harkness
Reporter/Anchor
KTKA Reporter/Anchor, October 2005 -
A lifelong Kansan, Beau has covered sports in the Sunflower State since he was 17-years-old. A product of western Kansas, he understands the importance of local sports to Kansas communities.
Beau graduated from Washburn University in May 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Mass Media. He's been a member of the 49 Sports Team since November of 2005.
Although he'll always be an Ichabod in his heart, Beau roots for and enjoys covering each of the four universities in Northeast Kansas. Still, his favorite sporting events to cover are high school football and soccer.
When he's not crisscrossing the state covering sports, Beau enjoys relaxing at home, playing the guitar, reading and exercising. He loves living in Topeka, especially since the Capitol City now has Buffalo Wild Wings.
If you see Beau out and about, feel free to say hello. He'll be coming to a sporting event near you soon.
